At 2:30 today, any remaining lost and found items will be donated or recycled. There are two tables in the front of our building that contain all lost and found items that are not school uniforms. You are welcome to stop by today before 2:30 to collect your child's items.
The school is not open today for uniform lost and found.
Please do not call and request a staff member hold items. We do not have the capacity to do so. Thank you.

Dear CSPES Families,
We hope this message finds you well. As a rapidly growing school community, we continually adjust our procedures to ensure efficient and smooth operations for everyone at Chesapeake Science Point Elementary. We want to share some important updates and reminders from the Main Office to help enhance our processes and maintain a safe environment. Please take a few moments to review the following:
Early Dismissal Cut-Off Time
Early dismissals will end at 1:40 p.m.. To minimize disruptions, please ensure any necessary pick-ups occur before this time.
Repeated Late Pick-Ups
If your child has more than three late pick-ups from school, you will be invited to a meeting to address any challenges and find solutions.
After-School Activity Late Pick-Ups
For students in after-school activities or clubs, more than three late pick-ups will result in ineligibility to participate in these programs. Please help us by ensuring prompt pick-up from all after-school activities.
Lost and Found Donations
Items in our lost and found that are not school uniform clothing (such as lunch boxes, t-shirts, books, water bottles) will be donated on the first of each month. Please encourage your child to check the lost and found if they are missing any belongings.
Event Registration and ID Pre-Scan
To help with event security, you must pre-scan your government-issued ID before any event that requires a printed badge. Larger events will require registration via a Google form, and there will be a registration deadline. If you miss the deadline, you will not be permitted to enter the building for that event. Please watch for a confirmation email after registering.
Thank you for your cooperation and support as we make these adjustments to serve our growing community. If you have any questions, please contact the Main Office.

Wondering how your scholar can earn this year's Limited Edition $5 Temi Ticket!? There are two ways to earn this year. Tickets will be distributed on Monday, November 4th and Tuesday, November 5th. 🍁🎃🤧
1. Fill a bag with Halloween candy to donate to our school for staff treats and student incentives. Parents, you choose the size (sandwich baggie or larger). Please ensure candy is wrapped and from this season (no Christmas or Easter candy, please).
2. Bring a box of tissues to school to donate to our community collection.
Participation is totally optional! Thank you & have a safe weekend.

Families, we are experiencing a disruption in our phone service due to an outage with Comcast. We anticipate service to be restored around 11:30 AM. Our staff has ability to call out. If there is an emergency, please email office staff.

Requirements to Participate:
-Device: Each student must have access to a Chromebook for every session.
-Commitment: Consistent attendance at all Video Production sessions is essential.
-Respect for Equipment: Students must handle all equipment with care and responsibility. Those unable to meet these expectations may be removed from the program to maintain a safe and productive environment for all.
