Thirty-two Anne Arundel County Public Schools secondary students won their respective categories, 25 more finished second, and 24 others placed third at the recent SkillsUSA Maryland Leadership and Skills Conference. The student winners represent both Centers of Applied Technology as well as all 14 AACPS comprehensive high schools. We have an exciting week ahead before the break, filled with fun and educational activities for our students: Wednesday: Our 5th graders will enjoy a trip to see "A Midsummer Night's Dream." 🎭 Thursday: Students in 1st, 3rd, and 5th grades will head to Bowie Baysox's field for STEM Day. ⚾🔬 Saturday: Some of our 5th graders will go on a special field trip. 🚌 Don't forget to mark your calendars and prepare for these wonderful experiences. The Learning Together Peer (LTP) Program offers an inclusive preschool experience where all young children can learn, play, develop friendships, and thrive in a diverse and engaging environment. This program provides specially designed instruction/special education services for preschoolers with disabilities in classrooms that also include children without disabilities. The program is Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday with classes for 3-year-olds in the AM and 4-year-olds in the PM.
