Friday marked the return of teachers to school buildings and preparations for the 2025-26 school year immediately got into full swing with team building activities, content meetings and the start of classrom setup. School bus schedules for the 2025-26 school year are now online at www.aacps.org/buses. Adjustments to these schedules may be made in the coming weeks, so please check back often. Questions should be directed to the Transportation Division at 410-923-7890.

The “Belong” in #BelongGrowSucceed applies to every student, including those with disabilities. That commitment was the focus of the Embracing Differences: This is Me conference at Severn Run High School. Educators and staff had the opportunity to hear from Jordyn Zimmerman, a passionate educator and disability advocate with autism, and participate in a variety of targeted breakout sessions. The event also featured Chesapeake High School graduate Adriana Dorsey, who shared heartfelt reflections on the individuals who supported her journey, as well as remarks from Superintendent of Schools Dr. Mark Bedell. #AACPSFamily #OurStory
